The services include the supervision of the elaboration of the designs for the collection, transport, storage and evacuation of rainwater in the city of Cusco, including mitigation measures, rainwater disconnections and integration of the existing rainwater drainage systems.
The integral project that involves the urban area of Cusco, considers the presentation of three (03) Technical Files located in the Tancarpaya, Cachimayo and Saphy micro-basins.
The study area is defined by the urban area of four districts (Cusco, Wanchaq, San Sebastian and Santiago) and three micro-watersheds (Saphy, Cachimayo and Tancarpaya), in terms of hydrographic areas, the study area includes the upper urban sub-basin of the Huatanay River, which includes the rural and urban micro-watershed of Saphy and the urban micro-watersheds of Cachimayo and Tancarpaya. The consultancy plans to supervise the storm drainage design divided into three micro-watersheds; therefore, each micro-watershed will be assigned a technical file.
The estimated term of the services is 290 calendar days. The service will be carried out in the city of Cusco; and as an indication, the estimated cost is S/. However, there are no upper or lower limits to the amount; the firm will formulate its proposal based on its own estimates.
The main components of the project are as follows:
- Improvement and expansion of the storm drainage service comprising the systems of collection, transport (including green filtering ditches), storage (including lamination and retention structures) and evacuation of rainwater, integrating the existing storm drainage systems.
- Disconnection of existing stormwater collectors from the sanitary sewer system.
- Risk mitigation measures (including revegetation, geogrids and gabions).
